Data retention schedule
Secure Git Bridge limits personal-data retention by purpose, legal need, and security requirements.
Operational retention
- Optional funnel analytics: up to 180 days.
- Pending unverified Free accounts: generally 7 days when no entitlement has been attached.
- Privacy requests: unverified requests 7 days; completed, denied, or cancelled request records up to 24 months.
- Closed customer support tickets: up to 24 months after closure. Open tickets remain until resolved.
- Sales leads and evaluation requests: up to 24 months after last activity.
- Transactional sales follow-up delivery queue: terminal delivery records up to 90 days.
- Marketing preference ledger: consent/opt-out status is retained as long as needed to honor the user's current preference and prevent unwanted marketing.
- Security and administrative audit events: event/accountability records up to 24 months; raw IP address and browser user-agent fields are automatically removed after 90 days from the commercial audit database.
- Commercial backups: normally 30 days, subject to configured production backup retention.
Account, licensing, billing and legal records
Active account and licensing records are retained while needed to provide the service. Transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legally required records may be retained for the period required by applicable obligations. Valid deletion requests remove or de-identify data that is no longer required, subject to documented legal exceptions.
Local application data
Repository permissions, provider credentials, and license secrets stored locally by the macOS application remain under the user's device control. Relevant provider and license secrets are stored in macOS Keychain.
