Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Secure Git Bridge handles information in connection with Secure Git Bridge ("SSGB"), securegitbridge.com, and related support and commercial services.
1. Who We Are
Secure Git Bridge is a product of Secure Git Bridge (" Secure Git Bridge ," "we," "us," or "our"). SSGB is designed to give AI coding assistants tightly scoped access to Git repositories selected and approved by the user.
2. Information We Collect
The information we receive depends on how you interact with SSGB and our website.
- Website and server information. Our hosting infrastructure may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs.
- Communications. If you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, company information, message content, and related correspondence.
- Commercial and account information. If we introduce paid plans, licensing, account registration, or customer support portals, we may process the information needed to provide those services, such as contact, licensing, billing, and transaction-related information. Payment card details may be processed by third-party payment providers rather than stored directly by Secure Git Bridge .
- Support and diagnostic information. If you choose to send logs, screenshots, diagnostics, or other material to support, we will process the information contained in what you submit.
3. Local Repository Data and AI Providers
SSGB is designed to operate locally and enforce repository boundaries on your machine. Installing or running SSGB does not, by itself, mean Secure Git Bridge receives the contents of your local Git repositories.
When you configure SSGB to work with an AI provider or another third-party service, approved code, prompts, file content, metadata, or other information may be transmitted to that provider as necessary for the connection you initiate. The third party's own privacy policy and terms govern its handling of that information.
You are responsible for choosing which repositories, files, providers, and permissions to authorize and for ensuring that your use complies with your confidentiality, contractual, security, and legal obligations.
4. How We Use Information
We may use information to provide and secure the website and SSGB services, respond to support requests, administer licenses or purchases, maintain product reliability, prevent abuse or fraud, comply with law, enforce agreements, and improve our products and documentation.
We do not sell your personal information for money. The current public marketing website is not designed to use behavioral advertising or advertising-tracking cookies.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The current securegitbridge.com marketing site is a static website and does not intentionally set advertising or cross-site behavioral-tracking cookies. Hosting, security, or infrastructure providers may process technical information necessary to deliver and protect the site. If we materially change our use of cookies, analytics, or tracking technologies, we will update this Policy and provide any notice or choices required by law.
6. When We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, support, license, bill, or operate SSGB; with third-party services you choose to connect; when required by law or valid legal process; to protect rights, safety, and security; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Service providers are expected to process information for the purposes for which they were engaged and subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing services, maintaining security and records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, or compliance obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why it was collected.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information under our control. No software, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for your device, repositories, credentials, AI-provider accounts, and local environment.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have a right to appeal a privacy-rights decision or lodge a complaint with a regulator.
To make a privacy request, contact us at support@securegitbridge.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
10. Children
SSGB is a developer and business software product and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the SSGB website or commercial service.
11. International Use
If you access SSGB or our website from outside the United States, information processed by Secure Git Bridge or its service providers may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where those providers operate, subject to applicable law.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as SSGB evolves. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
