Terms of Use

These Terms govern your access to and use of Secure Git Bridge ("SSGB"), securegitbridge.com, related downloads, documentation, and services provided by Secure Git Bridge .

Effective September 10, 2026Last updated September 10, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, or using SSGB, you agree to these Terms. If you use SSGB on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use SSGB.

2. What SSGB Does

SSGB is software designed to create a controlled bridge between AI coding assistants and Git repositories that a user explicitly approves. Features may include repository scoping, protected-file blocking, read-only access, audit information, and human-reviewed patch proposals.

Security features reduce risk but do not eliminate all risk. SSGB is not a substitute for source-control practices, backups, credential management, endpoint security, code review, access governance, or professional security testing.

3. License and Ownership

SSGB, its source code, binaries, documentation, designs, trademarks, and related materials are owned by Secure Git Bridge or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms and any applicable commercial license, subscription, order form, or product-specific agreement, Secure Git Bridge grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use SSGB for its intended purpose.

If a separate commercial license, subscription agreement, order form, or written agreement applies to your use of SSGB, that agreement controls to the extent of any conflict with these website Terms.

4. Your Repositories and Content

You retain ownership of your repositories, code, prompts, data, and other content. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your content to Secure Git Bridge .

You are responsible for ensuring that you have all rights and permissions necessary to connect a repository, disclose content to an AI provider, accept or apply an AI-generated patch, and use any resulting code or output.

5. AI Providers and Third-Party Services

SSGB may allow connections to third-party AI providers, source-control systems, hosting platforms, or other services. Those services are independent from Secure Git Bridge and are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability, pricing, and security practices.

Secure Git Bridge does not control or guarantee third-party AI outputs. AI-generated code may be incomplete, insecure, inaccurate, infringing, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, validating, and approving code before use or deployment.

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • authorize only repositories and systems you have permission to access;
  • protect credentials, API keys, devices, signing identities, and accounts;
  • review proposed code changes before applying or deploying them;
  • maintain appropriate backups and source-control history;
  • comply with applicable law, contracts, confidentiality duties, licenses, and organizational policies; and
  • promptly install important security updates when reasonably practicable.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use SSGB to violate law, access systems or repositories without authorization, distribute malware, steal credentials or secrets, intentionally bypass SSGB security controls, interfere with the service or other users, misrepresent ownership or authorization, or use SSGB in a manner that infringes another person's rights.

You may not reverse engineer, circumvent licensing controls, resell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit SSGB except to the extent expressly permitted by a written agreement with Secure Git Bridge or by non-waivable applicable law.

8. Early Access, Beta, and Pre-Release Features

Some SSGB features may be identified as early access, beta, preview, experimental, or pre-release. Such features may change, contain defects, be incomplete, or be discontinued. You should not rely on pre-release features as the sole protection for critical systems or data.

9. Updates and Changes

We may update SSGB, modify features, change compatibility requirements, address security issues, or discontinue features. Updates may be required for security, provider compatibility, licensing, or continued operation.

10. Fees, Plans, and Renewals

SSGB may offer free, trial, paid, subscription, or enterprise options. Pricing and plan terms shown at purchase or in an applicable order form control for that transaction. If a paid subscription automatically renews, the applicable checkout or subscription terms will describe the renewal cadence, charges, and cancellation method.

Except where required by law or stated otherwise in the applicable purchase terms, fees are non-refundable once the applicable paid period or licensed service has begun.

11. Suspension and Termination

Secure Git Bridge may suspend or terminate access to commercial services or licensing where reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, abuse, security threats, fraud, legal requirements, or material violation of these Terms. You may stop using SSGB at any time, subject to any separate contractual commitments.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification, will survive.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SSGB, the website, downloads, documentation, and related services are provided "as is" and "as available." Secure Git Bridge disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and security.

We do not warrant that SSGB will prevent every unauthorized access event, detect every secret or sensitive file, produce error-free code, remain compatible with every AI provider or operating-system version, or operate without interruption.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Secure Git Bridge and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, loss of source code, business interruption, security incidents, or loss of goodwill arising from or related to SSGB.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Secure Git Bridge's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to SSGB will not exceed the amount you paid to Secure Git Bridge for SSGB during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you paid nothing, Secure Git Bridge's aggregate liability will not exceed US $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Secure Git Bridge and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from your unlawful or unauthorized use of SSGB, your repositories or content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Any separate signed commercial agreement may specify different dispute-resolution or venue terms, in which case that agreement controls.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as SSGB evolves. We will post the revised Terms and update the "Last updated" date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
